Nicholas Lee reviews: THe Vansihed Man

The Vanished Man
The Vanished Man by Jeffery Deaver, this story is about a man named Lincoln Rhyme, the main character of the story, tracking down and hunting down a serial killer who uses magic tricks to kill people, and escape from the crime scene. Because magic is consisted of using people’s minds, human psychology and human behavior to trick them into believing that the thing is true, So this serial killer, the conjurer, becomes the ultimate conman.
Lincoln Rhyme is a very believable character, very calm and logical, even when he was in danger. “Rhyme laughed …… moment.” (Deaver, 330) this paragraph shows that even though he was nearly killed during a fire, he came to think it though logically and carefully enough to notice that the Conjurer was not trying to kill him. Also, as they continued to talk, “Rhyme squinted ….. really up to.” (Deaver, 331) Rhyme thought through the evidence, thinking that if someone was going to kill someone, why they would lead him to the next target. So if he planned on killing the people, he had total control over them. But if he was taken by surprise, then he wouldn’t have enough time to set up things he wanted to leave behind. Lincoln is also a very scientific man, not believe in anything else that logic. He said” hunches….Science”(Deaver, 447) he believe in nothing but science and realistic things.
This story is a very exciting and interesting one, keeps the reader wanting more, and more. I recommend this book to the people who loves mysterys, and magic tricks.

To add on to what robert said, i also think you dont need "main character of the story" becuase since this story is about that person of course he is the main character.
    2.“Rhyme laughed …… moment.”
i think you should show the important parts of the quote. Like if it is a paragraph, show the parts that are important or else we wont be able to understand your analysis.
3."Lincoln is also a very scientific man, not believe in anything else that logic. He said” hunches….Science”(Deaver, 447) he believe in nothing but science and realistic things."
Not Believing in anything else other than logic.
And your last sentence is basically the same thing as your first, so i dont think it is needed.
